What’s not available for rent? (and why?)

Since thermal layers are too close to the skin, investing in your own is the best choice for hygienic purposes. Apart from that, most of the accessories are made of merino wool, which is delicate, making it prone to tears and wear.

There are two ways to rent from Kosha:

Visit the outlet, select a piece that you like, and rent it directly from the store outlet at Kosha, 4 Nav Meghdoot, 535 Linking Road, Khar (W), Mumbai 400052.

If you are not in Mumbai, there is no need to panic. Just look for a piece online by heading over to Kosha’s website, and select the rent now option to rent the warmth and own the moment!

Shipping takes 3–5 days, and we do not count dispatch or return days in your rental period.

1. How does the rental period work for Kosha jackets?

Your rental duration begins the day after you get the jacket and ends on the day you return it. The collection day isn't counted, but the return day is. All jackets need to be returned between 10 a.m. And 2 p.m. on the final day at Kosha’s Mumbai store.

2. Is there a security deposit involved in renting from Kosha?

Yes, Kosha requires security deposits equal to the original cost of the jacket, which is paid through GPAY, UPI, or cash. After cutting the rent, this amount is returned to cash, after making sure that the rental garment is returned in good condition. Card payment is not accepted for deposits.

3. What happens if the rented jacket gets slightly dirty or creased?

Do not worry - normal wear (for example, small dirt marks, folds, or loose stitches on the tag) is covered by kosha and does not affect the security deposit. However, severe damage or carelessness can cause cuts.

4. Can I rent accessories and base layers from Kosha?

No, Kosha does not offer accessories or thermal base layers for rent for hygiene and durability reasons.
