Well, certain things are not available for rent at Kosha for a variety of reasons. Here’s why:

1. Thermals/Base Layers:

Thermals/Base Layers aren’t available for rent at Kosha, the reason being that these snug layers are worn the closest to the skin, and therefore it’s just better to invest in your own pair rather than renting, for hygienic purposes and better fitting. 

2. Accessories 

The accessories like classic merino wool socks for girls, or woolen gloves for boys, at Kosha, aren’t available for rent either, because:

• These accessories are made of a delicate natural fibre, Merino wool.
• Because of the fibre’s delicate nature, these accessories experience greater wear and tear, and aren’t available for rent. 
• Also, it's better to get your own personalised style of accessories as they enhance outfit styling.
• Lastly, they are also in direct contact with the skin, so hygiene matters.

While not available for rent, these woolen gloves are worth adding to your child’s winter wardrobe.

• It usually takes 3 to 5 days for shipping.
• The shipping and return transit days are not counted in your rental duration.

2. Why are thermals and accessories not available for rent?

We recommend buying thermals/base layers because they are worn on the skin, and you are supposed to get a snug fit, making them unsuitable for rental. Similarly, accessories such as Woolen Gloves for Boys, Classic Merino Wool Socks for Girls, caps, and mufflers are all made of delicate merino wool and can easily be damaged. For reasons of hygiene and personal style, it would be better for you to purchase these.

3. How does the rental procedure work at Kosha?

Renting is simple! You can either pick up your items in person at Kosha, 4 Nav Meghdoot, 535 Linking Road, Khar (W), Mumbai 400052, or place your order online on our website, and the products will be shipped to your address within three to five days. Shipping and return transit days are not counted toward your rental period.

4. What happens if the rented winterwear is damaged or returned late?

Kosha has a clear Security Deposit Policy. Minor wear and tear? No deductions. In the event of minor to somewhat major damage, we will deduct the actual repair cost from your deposit. In cases where an item is damaged beyond repair or lost, the entire amount of the deposit will be forfeited.
